Tamara Mellon To Debut New Shoe Line

This is worth giving a "shoe" about! The former Jimmy Choo founder, Tamara Mellon is rumored to debut her own shoe line. The 44 year old designer is aiming to launch her new designer shoe collection by 2013. Sources close to the designer say Mellon is at the final stages of her collection which she has been busy sketching designs for. 

"The idea is that the line will simply be called Tamara Mellon and she's working on designs at the moment," says a source. "She has the concept all worked out and the idea is that she will be opening stand-alone shops. She's really at a very advanced stage with the project."

If Mellon launches her shoe line do you think it will resemble's Jimmy Choo's collection? Will be designed of luxurious snakeshins and beautiful heels or platforms and stilettos? So much to ponder about hmmm..
