Behind The Scenes At Chloe 13’ Resort With Miami’s Makeup Guru Aileen Quintana
We caught up with Miami’s makeup guru, Aileen Quintana backstage at the Chloe 13' Resort show at the Soho Beach House during Miami Fashion Week Swim. Aileen perfected the soft, taupey eye with products from MAC and Make Up Forever and brushed brows out for a soft yet beachy look with contoured, bronzed cheeks. Upon explaining her method behind using her dual layered MAC brush to contour [and highlight] mid-face features around the nose and eyes, Aileen produced an effortless yet stunning signature Chloe look.
Guiding her team backstage on how-to-use Chanel liquid-based bronzer, she applied it lightly with one of her favorite brushes #188 by MAC. The dual fibre face brush allows for the liquid-based bronzer to gently kiss the face like a day on South Beach. A light application of MAC Zoom Fast Black Lash Mascara on the very ends of lashes opened up eyes in a natural-light. The Chloe 13' Swim look also kept lips lightly tinted, desaturated and without shine. Our biggest wonder was how to keep the models looking fresh while walking a catwalk above the pool in the humid-tundra. Aileen's answer: Ben Nye Final Seal, OBSESSED! A spray on sealer that keeps make up looking fresh whether through perspiration or environmental matters.
